American roads are more likely to blame for that. Balljoint gone snap maybe?

Having owned one of those vans, I have to ask how many land mines it ran over before this finally happened. I even had the raised roof conversion style and that van was an absolute champ. It was my first car and I'm still mad my parents made me sell it because, and I'm quoting directly from my mom, "A 16 year old boy with a conversion van will only end badly".....*sigh*

That's a hobo house, not a van.
Rights are easy, lefts are awful.

What can I say, we're trying our best to catch up to the Europeans, but we just can't quite get there...

I have seen several of these vans where the frame in front of the tires totally rots away and the torsion bar suspension folds under just like this.

This, x a million. Our roads are total crap in Georgia. When I win the lottery, I'm going to buy a tire place in Atlanta. Instant gold mine.

My mom likely put the kibosh on getting a hearse for quite similar reasons.

When I was younger I sooooo wanted an old late 60's-early 70's Cadillac hearse! Still think they're beautiful, but the things I'd have done in one would have just been wrong.

I was going to paint mine purple and green and haul my drums in it. My mom didn't realize how much of a social retard I was. There was no way I was going to get a girl in anything, much less a hearse.

My intentions for one were no where near that innocent. It would have made a great drive-in car.
